Sniply does not reproduce or recreate content in any way and is fully compliant with copyright laws. Sniply uses iframes to the original page from the original server. The content owner maintains all the traffic, analytics, SEO credit, and ad revenue. Sniply traffic is the same as normal traffic to the original page.
We offer convenient methods for publishers to opt-out of the Sniply ecosystem. Fortunately, we have found that many publishers value and appreciate the additional traffic and incentivized sharing that Sniply drives to their content.
Additionally, every user, when creating an account with Sniply, is required to accept our Terms of Service. Article 8 of our ToS expands on the Content, Licensing, Content Representation, Warranties, etc.
Paragraph 8.4.2 states:
your User Content, and the use of your User Content as contemplated by these Terms, does not and will not: (i) infringe, violate, or misappropriate any third party right, including any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral right, privacy right, right of publicity, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right; (ii) slander, defame, libel, or invade the right of privacy, publicity or other property rights of any other person; or (iii) cause Sniply to violate any law or regulation;
